The bike is pretty much ready to go. The minim weight goals have, as always, been compromised by the unexpected and by unwillingness to forego some luxuries. While I've decided not to take dedicated camera (phones are good enough these days), the electronics such as Kindle for evening reads and solar panel for charging this and bike computer add up for another 600g or so. Overall the weight is little over 7kg, 1.8kg of which are the panniers themselves (duh).

ReplyDeleteGodspeed to you! Good choice ;-)
